Call for Proposals

​

The MA Program in Applied Linguistics to TEFL (MLAEI by its initials in Spanish) of Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, in collaboration with the School of Sciences and Education, the Major in ELT of the Inter-Institutional Doctoral Program in Education, and the BA Program in ELT of the same university, is pleased to invite submissions of presentation proposals for its XXII Symposium on Research in Applied Linguistics & IV International Symposium on Literacies and Discourse Studies. The purpose of this event is to attain some practical realizations of the MLAEI research areas:  Literacy processes in two languages, Discourse studies within educational contexts, and Processes of teacher education and development. It includes thought-provoking plenary sessions and concurrent sessions.

 

MLAEI´s 25th anniversary:

 

In 2016, the MLAEI is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Symposium is intended to serve as the opportunity to commemorate the achievements of the program and its impact in the country since 1991.
